Privacy

MeaningKit is designed so its structured-data tools work locally in your browser. No account is required, and ordinary tool content is not stored in a MeaningKit account or ordinary backend database.

Tool processing

Text you paste or type is processed on your device for the tool you choose. Source content, keys, values, paths, search queries and export contents are not intentionally sent to MeaningKit servers for processing during normal tool use.

Exports are created locally when you choose to copy or download them. Once you save, paste or share an export elsewhere, that destination’s own privacy practices apply.

Local files

A file you select is read by the browser on your device. Local files are subject to browser-side size and safety limits, and unsupported or oversized files are rejected before normal tool processing continues.

Site storage and search

MeaningKit's core tools and site search do not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. Search runs in the browser and the query is not intentionally sent to analytics or advertising. Loading the site still requires ordinary web requests for pages and files; the hosting service may process technical request information under its own terms. The consent-management provider described below stores its own record of your choices.

Consent management

MeaningKit uses Cookiebot, provided by Usercentrics, as its consent-management provider. It shows the consent banner and records the choices you make. To remember a choice and apply it on later visits, Cookiebot keeps a consent record in your browser using necessary consent-management storage. Cookiebot may also process consent and technical information needed to record and replay your choices, under its own terms; see the Cookiebot privacy policy.

You can revisit or change your choices at any time using the Cookiebot privacy control on the site. Withdrawing a choice stops the matching optional service from starting on later pages.

The Statistics category controls whether optional analytics may be permitted. The Marketing category controls whether optional advertising may be permitted. Preferences and Necessary do not permit either. These choices are separate from the services themselves: analytics and advertising are not active merely because Cookiebot is present, and each remains disabled until its own configuration is in place.

Tool content stays on your device and is not sent to Cookiebot as tool content. A full cookie declaration is not embedded on this site at this stage.

Analytics and advertising

MeaningKit uses Google Tag Manager to run optional Google Analytics 4 measurement. It loads only after you allow the Statistics category, which is MeaningKit's Analytics choice, through Cookiebot. Until then no Google measurement script is requested. Allowing Marketing alone does not enable analytics.

When measurement is permitted, Google receives fixed product fields such as the page type, category and tool, together with the standard technical details its measurement collects, such as the page address, referrer, browser and device information and your IP address. Google may also set cookies or similar storage for it. MeaningKit does not send filenames, source content, keys, values, paths, search queries, export contents, pasted content or other free text to analytics. Tool processing remains local during normal use.

You can revisit or withdraw optional choices at any time using the Cookiebot privacy control. Withdrawing the Statistics choice stops further MeaningKit analytics activity from being permitted. It cannot recall information that has already been sent.

Advertising is separate from analytics and is not active on MeaningKit: no advertising script is loaded, and the Marketing choice does not turn analytics on.
