Accessibility
Target, not certification. MeaningKit aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This is a design and testing aim, not a claim of certified conformance.
What is supported
- Tool controls work with a keyboard and use visible focus indicators.
- A skip link moves directly to the main content.
- Errors, warnings and result status are associated with the relevant controls.
- Pages and populated tools reflow for narrow screens and enlarged text.
- Text is set in relative units so it follows your browser’s text size.
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected.
- Forced-colours modes, including Windows high contrast, are supported.
- Meaning is never carried by colour alone.
- Relationship graphs and flowcharts have complete table, text or outline alternatives.
How it is tested
Automated accessibility checks cover ordinary pages and populated tool states. Keyboard operation, reflow, enlarged text, visible focus, reduced motion and forced colours are also checked in the project’s browser test suite.
Automated checks cannot find every accessibility problem, and passing them is not a certification. Browser, operating-system and assistive-technology combinations can behave differently.
